Injection Molding Maintenance Engineer/Jr Engineer- Plastic Industry

Job Title: Junior Engineer/Engineer Maintenance – Injection Molding (Plastic Industry)

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components on injection molding machines (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, drives).
• Monitor and analyze the electrical performance of molding equipment and recommend improvements.
• Support senior engineers in executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain documentation related to electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime during repairs or maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Assist in the modification or upgrading of electrical systems to improve machine efficiency.
• Work with automation systems and robotic arms, if applicable.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain stock of critical electrical spares and tools.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of experience in the plastic injection molding industry preferred.
