FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Summary

The Foundation Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the MultiCare Foundation’s Vice President or Executive Directors ensuring the smooth workflow and daily operations in the department and aiding in high level philanthropic cultivation and stewardship activities performed by Foundation staff. This position requires attention to detail; strong customer service skills; and discretion and good judgment when dealing with sensitive, privileged, and confidential information. This position has a wide variety of both internal and external contacts.

The Foundation Operations Coordinator is the primary point of contact for the community and the MultiCare Foundations, foundation shared services, as well as affiliates such as Wellfound and CMBC. They must posses an in-depth knowledge of scope of each team to answer questions and direct questions to the appropriate team. They work as part of the foundation operation team to help with the operational needs of the entire department especially when it involves finance, accounting, data administration, accounts payable, budgeting, foundation releases, and support of other foundation activities such as stewardship, annual giving, events, and major gift fundraising. Internal contacts may include all levels of staff, providers, and management. External contacts may include donors, patients, patient families, and vendors.

Requirements

• Five years of experience, or two years of college or successful completion of a vocational secretarial course
• AA or BA degree preferred
• Minimum five (5) years high level administrative assistant or secretarial experience, in a health care setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $52,659.00 - $75,797.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
