Foundry Fettling Quality Engineer

Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Foundry Fettling Quality Engineer for a reputed foundry unit in Gandhidham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising fettling activities and ensuring quality and safety standards are met on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Need to take dimensions of castings before dispatch. And make a dimension report for major dimensions.

Supervise daily fettling operations including grinding, cutting, and surface finishing of castings

Have to clear pending stock and take necessary timely actions.

Has to adhere to quality standards in all situations

Manage and guide a team of fettlers to meet production targets

Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize rejection rates

Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness

Coordinate with production and quality departments for smooth operations

Monitor machine/equipment usage and report any issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Foundry Fettling Quality Engineer: 1 year (Preferred)
• dimensions of castings: 1 year (Preferred)
• make a dimension report for major dimensions: 1 year (Preferred)
