Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on FP&A Analyst to guide the company's financial future by creating budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decisions, analyzing performance, identifying trends, and reporting insights to management. This role plays a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and enabling informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:
What You Will Do:
Financial Planning & Analysis
-
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with business leaders.

Develop and maintain financial models, including scenario analyses for business cases, investments, and operational initiatives.

Perform detailed variance analysis to explain financial performance across revenue, margins, and expenses.

Own consolidated Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts.
Strategic Decision Support

Provide financial insight and recommendations to support executive decision-making.

Lead analysis related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integration planning, labor strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.

Deliver actionable insights to guide resource allocation, margin improvement, and growth strategies.
KPI Development & Performance Measurement

Establish and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational dashboards aligned with strategic goals.

Partner with business unit leaders to analyze trends, productivity, and operational metrics.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of KPIs across the organization.
Executive & Board Communication

Prepare board-level materials, including financial packages, forecasts, and performance reviews.

Present financial information in a clear, concise manner for executives, board members, and private equity stakeholders.

Anticipate executive questions and proactively provide supporting analysis.
Leadership & Collaboration
-
Build collaborative relationships across finance, operations, and other departments.

Act as liaison between the company and private equity sponsor to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Mentor and support team members to build FP&A capabilities.
Process Improvement & Systems

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Standardize reporting practices and streamline data flows.
-
Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) to support automation and advanced analystics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial management.

Experience in a private equity–backed environment, ideally within a growth-oriented, mid-sized company.

Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar platforms.

Industry experience in Personal Care, Home Health, Hospice, or Professional Services/Staffing is a plus.

Demonstrated experience in M&A, due diligence, and/or financial consulting preferred.

Advanced technical skills in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis.

Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI (or similar).

Strong communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.

Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and levels of leadership.

High attention to detail with capacity to balance big-picture strategy and underlying data.
