FP&A Role
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join our team at Ortho Dev America / Eqwal US in Bethesda, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting principles and be able to work independently to achieve established goals and objectives. This professional will be responsible for supporting the Finance, HR, Operations and Leadership teams. In this role you will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, budgeting and managing cost and expenses structure.
This role will directly report to the Sr. Manager, FP&A and will also engage and interact with the Senior Leadership team.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
1. Reporting

Responsible for creating and maintaining reports including:

Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly spread and leadership reports that are used by management for business decision-making.

Preparing financial statements including statement of cash flows (direct and indirect methods)

Creating, updating, refining, and maintaining financial models
-
Performing budget-to-actuals analyses and variance explanations.

Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

Empower leadership with critical insights by developing, maintaining, and refining business KPIs, and proactively identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.

Develop reports in Power BI to automate reporting processes.
2. Decision Support and Controls

Execute specialized analyses utilizing internal financial systems, transforming data into clear, impactful presentations for senior management, facilitating strategic conclusions and recommendations.

Provide meaningful business insights to optimize executive financials decisions, through rigorous financial reporting and analysis capabilities.

Preparing quarterly rolling forecasts, working with the business leaders to gather inputs and assumptions.

Designs and implement processes, frameworks and systems that allow us to capture and utilize timely and accurate financial data across the business to make better decisions.

Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines, and identifying areas for cost optimization.

Lead strategic projects and support Leadership on ad-hoc research and analysis.

Use systems solutions to streamline reporting and automate internal processes.
Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting, finance, or business.

Minimum of 5 years of experience;
-
Experience with healthcare industry;

Experience with Group reporting with defined guidelines, templates, and deadlines – ideally an international Group.

Have worked for/with a Western European company – preferably French.

Certifications (CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred but not required.

High proficiency with MS Office package, Power BI /Tableau and ERP systems.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Self-starter. Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Proven critical thinking, analytical, and interpretative skills.

Ability to design and create ad-hoc financial analysis from scratch.

Ability to analyze, process and synthesize large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information and clearly present these ideas.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse functions and various levels of an organization.

Possesses ethics and integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

**This is a hybrid role working 3 days in our Bethesda, MD office.
**Salary range $100K - $145K plus bonus compensation within the posted range will be determined based on candidate's skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and other variables.
