The Senior Manager, FP&A – Expense Controllership plays a critical role within a rapidly evolving FP&A organization supporting a high‑growth business. This role owns consolidated expense planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics across corporate functions and enterprise-wide cost categories. The Senior Manager will help modernize FP&A processes, strengthen data accuracy, and partner closely with business leaders to drive disciplined cost management and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Expense Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

Lead monthly expense reporting, variance analysis, and business reviews for all corporate departments and enterprise cost categories.

Own the quarterly forecast cycle and annual operating plan (AOP) for expenses, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business priorities.

Develop standardized reporting packages, dashboards, and insights that improve visibility into cost drivers and trends.

Partner with Accounting and Finance Business Partners to ensure alignment between actuals, accruals, and forecast assumptions.
Business Partnership & Decision Support

Serve as the primary finance partner to corporate function leaders (e.g., IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Operations).

Provide actionable insights, scenario modeling, and recommendations to support cost optimization and investment decisions.

Support business case development for technology, transformation, and operational initiatives.

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to ensure expense implications are reflected in market-level financials.
Process Improvement & FP&A Transformation

Lead improvements to expense planning processes, including calendar design, workflow standardization, and automation.

Support the redesign of PBCS/NetSuite hierarchies and data models to improve accuracy, dimensionality, and reporting capabilities.

Contribute to the broader FP&A transformation roadmap, including long-term tool strategy and integrated financial management processes.
Data Integrity & Systems Ownership

Act as a subject matter expert on expense-related data structures, hierarchies, and integrations across PBCS, NetSuite, and Workday.

Ensure expense data quality, including validation of actuals, headcount, vendor spend, and service line allocations.

Participate in testing and rollout of PBCS enhancements, new integrations, and reporting tools.
Leadership & Team Development

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior FP&A team members

Help build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence.

Support hiring, onboarding, and capability-building as the FP&A team scales.
Qualifications:

Seven (7) – ten (10) years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or controllership experience, ideally in a multi‑site or services-based business.

Strong understanding of expense planning, cost drivers, and financial modeling.

Experience with PBCS, NetSuite, Workday, or similar planning/ERP systems strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

Demonstrated ability to operate in a transforming environment with evolving processes and systems.

Strong analytical, financial and systems skills.

Pay Range: USD $170,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Hr.
