JOB TITE: FPS SITE SUPERVISION & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the FPS Work of assigned site as per approved drawings and materials and ensure execution of FPS work inline with DEWA specification and scope of works.

Attend progress meetings with contractors/consultants and SME's whenever required.

Coordinate with DEWA internal departments and respond to their corresponding to ensure their requirements and queries are addressed and closed. Coordinate with contractor/consultant to ensure proper completion of project work.

Issue site notes and follow-up to ensure all site notes are closed according to DEWA's requirements.

Validate the safe receipt of the dispatched FPS equipment and material by confirming compliance to pre-requisites, carrying out site inspection and issuing safe receipt report based on set criteria.

Validate the site installation of FPS by confirming compliance to pre-requisites and supervise installation activities in line with installation checklists.

Review stakeholder Staff of FPS submitted by contractors or Consultant. Conduct interviews and issue approvals for candidates.

Confirm compliance of pre-requisites and Witness the site testing activities of FPS.

Validate the site received materials of FPS as per verification checklists and material approval form.

Validate approved design drawings. Generate marked-up drawings. Review and approve FPS As-built drawings prior to handing over to custodian in line with applicable checklists.

Provide performance feedback and lesson learnt on projects. Submit CATS report and confirm FPS activities in SAP module inline with assigned task and FPS work progress at site.

Issue FPS clearance for outage and energization. Handover FPS works to Custodian.

Respond promptly to all emergency situations involving transmission assets and arrange for restoration of normality without exceeding the targets.

Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information to anyone within or outside the Authority, during or after employment in DEWA.

Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.

Perform other job-related duties as required.

Ensure QA/QC is in full compliance with specification and requirements for the projects to minimize end user's comments and number of non-compliances found during commissioning stage and hence ensure customer satisfaction end quality of executed work.

Responsible for continuously innovating and fulfilling the requirements of driving the Corporate Excellence. Facilitating, transferring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
Experience/Qualification
- Minimum 4 years experience for Bachelors degree holder

Minimum 7 years experience for Diploma holder

Problem solving skills

Knowledge in International Standards

Proficiency in technical report writing

Driving License
