Duties

• Safely operate a variety of trucks such as manual transmission tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport frac sand and other freight.
• Load and unload materials efficiently using forklifts or other equipment, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transit.
• Follow designated routes and schedules diligently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road.
• Assist with yard organization and equipment operation as needed to support overall logistics operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial transportation; delivery driver experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
• Familiarity with driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker or refrigerated trailer operation preferred.
• Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize efficiency.
