Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with organizations seeking expert financial leadership on a flexible, part-time basis. As a key financial strategist, you will provide high-level oversight of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, empowering organizations to achieve their growth and compliance goals. Your expertise will drive fiscal discipline, optimize revenue management, and ensure regulatory adherence while supporting strategic initiatives in diverse sectors including non-profit, corporate, and governmental entities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence financial success across multiple organizations by leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, risk management, and business development.

Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Oversee corporate accounting functions including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize working capital.
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement controls in accordance with COSO frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations.
  • Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating financial health, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms to facilitate strategic growth initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and regulatory filings for stakeholders and governing bodies.
  • Drive budgeting processes, expense management, cost control strategies, and financial forecasting to support long-term fiscal health.
  • Provide leadership in financial software implementation and management of complex financial models for business analysis and scenario planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on market analysis, business development opportunities, and supply chain cost management to maximize revenue cycle efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within diverse organizational settings such as non-profit organizations, corporations, or government agencies.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including risk management, fiscal management, revenue cycle management, and cost accounting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory reporting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and governmental accounting principles.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, modeling, strategic planning, and business development with a focus on profitability enhancement.
  • Supervisory experience overseeing finance teams responsible for payroll management, expense control, cost management, and technical accounting functions.
  • Familiarity with financial software systems used for complex reporting and data analysis; proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation is essential.
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with a proactive approach to risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
