Framing Contractor

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Contractor (with or without own teams of carpenters) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise framing work that forms the backbone of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Your expertise will ensure that building frameworks are constructed efficiently, safely, and to exact specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your extensive knowledge of framing techniques and construction practices to bring architectural visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and accurately follow construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper framing execution.
• Erect metal buildings and metal stud framing with precision, adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
• Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with engineering specifications.
• Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, drywall framing, and woodworking to create durable frameworks.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while performing framing, roofing, siding, plastering, and restoration work.
• Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools; perform dimensional measurements for precise cuts and placements.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical schematics and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.

Experience

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on framing.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic math for accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of construction methods including drywall installation, stucco application, roofing, siding, masonry, welding, and rebar installation.
• Experience working with various materials such as wood, metal studs, concrete forms, and siding products in remodeling or restoration projects.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure working environment at all times.
