Franchise Coach - Plumbing Heating Paramedics

The Franchise Coach is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of new franchise onboarding—from signing to post-launch performance coaching. This hybrid role ensures a seamless and structured onboarding experience while driving early-stage business success through strategic coaching and performance monitoring. As the primary point of contact, the Franchise Coach partners cross-functionally to guide franchisees through training, launch, and growth, ultimately transitioning them into long-term operational excellence.


This is a remote role with some travel involved.


Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Training:

  • Coordinate and manage multi-phase onboarding curriculum for all new franchisees (startups and transfers).
  • Lead pre-launch requirements, including scheduling training, confirming checklist completions, and managing onboarding milestones.
  • Facilitate and lead on-site and virtual training sessions; ensure understanding through testing and teach-backs.
  • Maintain and improve training tools and documentation; ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and brand aligned.
  • Partner with functional teams to align training content with operations, technology, safety, and customer experience initiatives.

Post-Launch Coaching:

  • Provide business coaching during the franchisee’s critical first year, focusing on operations, customer acquisition, staffing, and financial tracking.
  • Conduct business reviews, coach on P&L statements, and help franchisees optimize performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between franchisee and support center departments to solve issues and identify opportunities.
  • Support Franchise Peer Performance Groups (PPGs), regional meetups, and brand advisory forums.

Performance & Accountability:

  • Monitor franchisee progress against goals and KPIs; create corrective action plans as needed.
  • Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, growth strategies, and process improvements.
  • Deliver consistent feedback and performance tracking reports to leadership and franchisees.
  • Occasionally assist non-onboarding franchisees with refresher training or special project needs.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in franchise operations, coaching, or small business ownership.
  • Experience in home services such as HVAC and/or Plumbing preferred.
  • Proven track record in training, onboarding, and business consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of operational KPIs, business planning, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate.
  • Comfortable leading both virtual and in-person sessions.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, MS Office, Salesforce, and training platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for on-site support, training, and franchise events.

Miracle Method, USA Insulation, Plumbing Paramedics, Heating Paramedics, Sir Grout and Granite Garage Floors. Our strategy is to keep adding great-performing brands to our portfolio, so we’re not slowing down. We’re headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, but really, we’re all over the map, with more than 400+ franchise locations across North America.
