The Hairdresser is responsible for providing professional hair care and styling services to guests in accordance with hotel standards. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized consultations, expert hair treatments, and ensuring the highest level of hygiene and professionalism. The Hairdresser also contributes to promoting salon services and maintaining a welcoming, luxury environment for guests.


Your day to day

1. Guest Services

  • Greet and consult guests to understand their hair care needs and preferences.

  • Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, blow-drying, straightening, perming, and treatments.

  • Recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and home care products based on guests' hair condition and desired look.

  • Ensure guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and satisfied with services.

2. Professional Standards

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest hair trends, techniques, and products.

  • Deliver services in line with spa/salon standards, ensuring consistency and high-quality results.

  • Follow proper procedures for chemical treatments (color, highlights, perm, etc.) while ensuring guest safety.

  • Uphold the highest standards of personal grooming and presentation at all times.

3. Hygiene & Safety

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and sterilized after each use.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the salon area, including workstations, chairs, and washing basins.

  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper use of chemicals and products.

4. Sales & Promotion

  • Promote salon services, spa packages, and retail products to maximize revenue.

  • Provide professional product knowledge and recommendations to guests for aftercare.

  • Support marketing and promotional activities for salon and spa services.

5. Teamwork & Coordination

  • Work closely with colleagues in the spa and recreation department to ensure smooth guest service.

  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing guest bookings when required.

  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance technical skills and customer service.



What we need from you

  • Certified Hairdresser / Diploma in Hairdressing from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional hairdressing experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or salon.

  • Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.

  • Knowledge of international hair trends and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work with diverse guest profiles and hair types.

  • Good sales and upselling skills.

  • Creativity and attention to detail.

  • Customer service orientation.

  • Professional grooming and personal presentation.

  • Adaptability and flexibility.

  • Team collaboration.
