Franchise Operations & Training Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Prefer onsite but open to Hybrid or Remote; 25% travel required)

Summary

Assisted Living Locators is dedicated to helping seniors and their families make informed decisions about care and living options. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Franchise Operations & Training Specialist to prepare franchisees for long-term success. This role plays a key role in supporting franchisees throughout their lifecycle—from onboarding and initial training through ongoing operational support. This role combines hands-on operational assistance with structured training delivery to ensure franchisees have the tools, knowledge, and systems they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to internal teams and franchisees, serving as a first point of contact for routine questions and support needs.
  • Maintain and update franchise data, records, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead the onboarding of new franchisees, including developing welcome materials, setting up systems, and coordinating training schedules.
  • Deliver and evolve a structured onboarding and training program, including pre- and post-training requirements, recorded seminars, and ongoing modules in marketing, sales, business development, and referral network growth.
  • Create training plans with clear objectives, benchmarks, and evaluation criteria; provide coaching and support for new franchisees during their first year, with special focus on milestone achievements and placement goals.
  • Conduct targeted monthly training sessions for franchisees in their early placement stage, extending support up to 3 months if needed.
  • Support the execution and follow-up of operational initiatives and projects, tracking progress against KPIs, compliance metrics, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, IT, and Compliance to coordinate service delivery and relay franchisee needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, guides, and training resources.
  • Conduct audits of franchise compliance documentation and operational processes.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings, and webinars for franchisees and internal teams.
  • Contribute to improving operational workflows, training programs, and overall franchise support strategies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in franchise operations, training, coaching, or related roles; experience in the senior care industry highly preferred.
  • Training Expertise: Proven ability to mentor and motivate franchisees, enabling operational excellence and sustainable growth.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and strategic thinking. Proficiency with CRMs, Google Suite, and leveraging technology for training and onboarding.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships and encourage feedback.
  • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, and referral development strategies.
  • Metrics: Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure training effectiveness.
