Fraud Officer

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Fraud Officer to join our Group Finance team, reporting to the Manager of Fraud Management. The primary purpose of this role is to safeguard all company revenue streams by ensuring robust fraud management controls are in place. You will be responsible for responding to alerts from our Fraud Management system, investigating exceptions, and analyzing system logs to detect and prevent fraudulent activity. A key part of your role will involve assessing fraud risks for new products and services before they launch. This position requires conducting regular monitoring of system access rights and audit trails on key telecom platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide practical recommendations and ensure effective controls are implemented. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in telecom systems, proficiency in SQL, and the ability to work in a 24x7x365 shift environment. This role is critical for minimizing revenue loss and protecting our brand image and customer experience.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ A bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering.

▸ At least 7 years of experience in Fraud Management with knowledge of Telecom SOP, products and packages set-up, and fraud scenarios.

▸ Expert knowledge of telecom OSS and BSS, CRM, and core network systems such as MSS, IN nodes, HSS, Mediation, and Billing systems.

▸ Hands-on experience operating and fine-tuning major Fraud Management Systems (FMS).

▸ Strong proficiency in writing PL/SQL and SQL queries for control development and monitoring.

▸ Proven ability to conduct fraud risk assessments for new products, services, and systems prior to launch.

▸ Experience in analyzing anomalies, identifying root causes, and resolving fraud-related issues independently.

▸ Demonstrated skill in monitoring system audit logs and conducting regular access control reviews.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials.

▸ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.

▸ Strong presentation skills for preparing and delivering regular reports.

▸ Experience working in a 24x7x365 shift-based environment.

▸ Proficiency in data analysis tools like MS Excel and MS Access.
