Fraud Strategy Data Analyst

Location: Memphis, TN • Charlotte, NC • Metairie, LA • Birmingham, AL (On‑site)

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Fraud Strategy Data Analyst to support fraud detection, data quality, analytics, and reporting across the organization. This role manages data pipelines, dashboards, and operational reporting to ensure accurate, timely fraud insights for partners across Fraud Strategy, Operations, Risk, Finance, and IT.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and monitor data pipelines across Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and structured data sources.
• Ensure data quality, troubleshoot anomalies, and address system or pipeline issues.
• Automate manual reporting processes and build reusable data components.
• Create and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and control metrics.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for fraud dashboards, reporting, and source-system behavior.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to support fraud monitoring and operational analytics.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field—or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in analytics, data operations, BI development, or fraud/risk analysis.
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills; experience with data modeling and dashboard design.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Fabric pipelines), Power Query, and structured data handling.
• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis (trends, cohorts, anomaly detection) and present insights clearly.
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and an ownership mindset.

Preferred Skills

• DAX, Python, Git, and Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse experience.
• Background with banking or payment data (ACH, cards, deposits, transfers).
• Knowledge of fraud typologies and regulated environments.
• Relevant certifications (PL‑300, DP‑600, DP‑203, CFE).
