Title: Freelance Arabic Copywriter
Reports to: Communications Director
Office: United Arab Emirates (Hybrid)
KEY ATTRIBUTES | QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field
- Native or fluent Arabic speaker with a minimum of 3 years of proven Arabic copywriting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic is a MUST)
- Previous experience writing for luxury brands or premium clients
- Strong creative thinking with the ability to produce original content
- Experience with content management systems
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Strong time management, organizational and forward-planning skills
- Positive attitude with an energetic approach to work
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Receptive to feedback
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Writing clear and compelling copy with a distinct voice for websites, campaigns and social media
- Use different writing styles that appeal to various target audiences
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Conducting thorough high quality research and formulate ideas or support writing that result in effective and compelling communication
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Working with creative professionals like designers and PR to develop variety of marketing material for projects and campaigns
- Coordinating with external parties to learn about their content needs and their brand guide
- To edit and modify content as per brand expectations
- Maintaining good relations with internal and external teams for future projects
- Source relevant images to support the content
- Formulating and integrating keywords for SEO to maximize copy’s reach
- Stay up to date with trends for maximum engagement
