Freelance Auto CAD Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team on a project basis. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
• Create accurate schematics and technical drawings aligned with project specifications and client requirements.
• Utilise SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools to produce comprehensive models and visualisations.
• Collaborate with project teams to interpret design briefs and translate concepts into practical designs.
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices within the construction sector.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients or project managers to meet evolving project needs.
• Maintain organised digital files of all design documents for easy access and version control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in architectural or civil design projects, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Schematics, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawing standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams remotely.
