Freelance Packaging Designer

We’re seeking an experienced freelance packaging designer to create thoughtful, elevated packaging concepts that reflect our brand’s aesthetic and guidelines. This is an hourly, hybrid freelance role working closely with our design and production teams to develop packaging that helps bring our product presentation to life.

Responsibilities:

· Create and execute original/update existing packaging concepts that are both visually compelling and meet project objectives in function, in-store presentation, and cost

· Work closely with the design team and production departments to ensure all designs align with brand identity and product specifications.

· Develop digital mock-ups and physical prototypes to scale for internal review, testing, and presentation.

· Prepare accurate production files, including dyelines, measurements, and print-ready artwork.

· Stay current on packaging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies within the sleepwear and underwear market.

· Design with cost-efficiency and sustainability in mind, incorporating eco-friendly materials where applicable

· Ensure all packaging complies with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and labeling requirements.

· Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to evaluate material options and ensure production feasibility.

· Iterate and refine designs based on feedback.

Requirements:

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.

· Solid understanding of printing techniques, packaging materials, functionality with a strong sense of color

· Portfolio required at time of interview

· Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred.

· Ability to pivot freely between priorities each day

· Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in related role

Hourly Pay Based on Experience
