Freelance UI/UX Designer

Channel Impact is seeking an experienced UI / UX Designer to join our winning team. In this role, you will consult and collaborate cross-functionally to execute key digital design solutions using UX/UI best practices.

This is a full-time, 6 month contract salaried position for a remote worker within the United States or Canada.

What you will be doing:

- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.

- Advocate user-centered approach and design.

- Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

- Test assets and optimize based on their performance.

- Iterate new designs based on user/stakeholder feedback.

- Create digital assets for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, websites, etc.).

- Design on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography.

- Design and develop homepages, landing pages, and email concepts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards.

- Work closely with the development team to perform technical feasibility analysis before proposing a solution.

- Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions.

What you bring:

- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally within the high-tech industry (Required).

- Highly organized, a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and simultaneous tasks.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid knowledge of design software programs, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Experience with user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and user testing.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
