Freelance Videographer and Editor

We are looking for a full-time proficient Videographer to join us. You will be responsible for filming raw footages on live locations as well as covering shoots on sets. Besides filming, you should be able to clip the footage together and edit it along with the Video Editor. You should be able to set up cameras, lighting, backdrops and any other props required for a shoot.

Objectives of this role

Duties and responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form videos for [Company X]’s website and social media accounts
• Take charge of video ideation and creation
• Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines
• Implement creative notes from stakeholders
• Offer customers peerless digital experiences
• Evaluate projects for brand authenticity

Preferred qualifications

• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work with multi-track split audio
• Knowledge of aspect ratios
• Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications
• Understanding of video encoding formats
• Talent for sound design

Essential Skills

• Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong storytelling skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of visual aesthetics.
• Effective communication with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver desired outcomes.
• Ability to work with others and adapt to different project needs and workflows.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing projects is essential for demonstrating skills and experience.

Qualification

A Bachelor's degree or certification in video editing, film production, multimedia, visual communication or a related field.
