Freelance WordPress Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Freelance WordPress Developer with strong experience in custom theme development, plugin creation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines, and handle urgent website issues efficiently.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining fast, secure, and visually appealing WordPress websites, using page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery, while ensuring smooth performance and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins.
• Build responsive and modern web pages using Elementor and WPBakery Page Builder.
• Optimize website performance for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
• Perform website security checks and implement measures to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular audits related to performance, SEO, and security improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues quickly, especially during urgent situations.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve website functionality and user experience.
• Coordinate with management and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (Freelance or Contract preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Hands-on expertise in Elementor and WPBakery.
• Experience in WordPress performance optimization and security hardening.
• Ability to deliver work quickly and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating third-party APIs into WordPress.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and GDPR compliance.
