Profile Summary:
Creative and experienced Interior Designer with a strong background in designing home interiors, Hospitality, Hotels and apartments. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience in the industry and will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative design solutions for a range of residential spaces.
Job Description
- Understand the client's requirements, preferences, and budget for the project.
- Achieve sales targets assigned.
- Discuss the overall design concept and goals for the space, considering functionality and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with the client and other design professionals to create a design concept that aligns with the project's vision.
- Determine the style, color schemes, and overall look and feel of the space.
- Choose appropriate furniture pieces, such as sofas, chairs, tables, and storage units, that fit the design concept.
- Consider factors like comfort, durability, size, and scale in the selection process.
- Select fixtures and fittings like lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinet hardware, and door handles.
- Ensure these elements enhance the design, meet safety standards, and are functional.
- Equipment Procurement:
- Source products and materials that align with the budget and quality expectations.
- Establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to source furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Choose appropriate materials and finishes for furniture, fixtures, and equipment that complement the design and meet the client's preferences.
- Consider factors like maintenance, durability, and sustainability.
- Design custom furniture or fixtures when standard options do not meet the project's requirements.
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of bespoke elements.
- Prepare detailed specifications, drawings, and schedules for each FF&E item.
- Ensure that all elements are compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
- Address any defects, issues, or discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee the coordination and installation of FF&E elements in the project.
- Work closely with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure proper integration.
- Create presentations, mood boards, and visual representations of FF&E selections to convey the design vision to the client.
- Obtain client approval and make any necessary revisions.
- Follow up after installation to address any issues or concerns that may arise, ensuring that the client is satisfied with the final result.
- Keep up with the latest trends, materials, and products in the FF&E industry.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in Retail focusing home interiors, retail spaces, hospitality, hotel, villa, and apartment design projects.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed design sales targets in a showroom or client-facing environment.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, D5 render etc.).
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and materials selection.
- Extensive experience in fit-out design and project execution, including site coordination and implementation.
- Proficiency in managing end-to-end design processes, from concept development to on-site delivery, ensuring quality and timelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Arabic speaking is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
