About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Freight Brokerage Team Lead to oversee daily brokerage operations, manage a team of freight coordinators/agents, and ensure efficient movement of shipments. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep market knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain carrier and customer relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Operations

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of freight brokers/agents to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Monitor performance, provide training, and conduct regular feedback sessions.
• Oversee end-to-end freight operations including load booking, dispatching, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Ensure the team follows standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
• Proven experience managing or leading a team.
• Strong understanding of US trucking market, load boards, carrier management, and brokerage operations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with TMS systems, load boards (DAT, Truckstop), and MS Office.
