Freight Broker

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team WITH A BOOK OF BUSINESS. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing the logistics and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation management systems, and supply chain management. The position requires the ability to negotiate with carriers, manage data entry, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.

EARN UP TO 70% OF COMMISSIONS.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage the transportation of goods from the shipper to the receiver ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Source and negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates and services for our clients.

- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software to manage and optimize our transportation operations.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring high-quality service and on-time delivery.

- Conduct thorough research on carriers to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and maintain a high level of quality control.

- Manage data entry for transportation and logistics activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

- Monitor and analyze transportation operations to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

- Ensure that all freight brokerage activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in freight brokerage or logistics WITH A BOOK OF BUSINESS.

- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.

- Experience with carrier sales and negotiation.

- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
