Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Freight Broker Agent who has an active book of business and a passion for logistics. If you’re looking for a better commission split, more autonomy, and real back-office support — we’d love to work with you.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and secure freight from shippers across the U.S.
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and manage freight movements
• Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
• Handle end-to-end logistics coordination
• Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution
• Use TMS/load boards to manage operations and update load status

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Freight Broker or Freight Agent
• Active book of business or shipper relationships
• Strong knowledge of U.S. freight markets and carrier networks
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with TMS, load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working under a brokerage/agent model
• Relationships in specialized lanes (reefer, flatbed, dry van, etc.)

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is commission-based and depends on your freight volume. The more you move, the more you earn.

Pay: $53,809.85 - $64,803.26 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
