Freight Broker

Location: DHA PHASE VIII (Serving U.S. & Canadian markets)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Broker to join our team. This is a night shift position with working hours from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, aligning with U.S. and Canadian market timings. You will be responsible for building relationships with U.S. and Canadian manufacturers, suppliers, and shippers, while coordinating with carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and reliable freight movement. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and contact U.S. and Canadian manufacturers, suppliers, and shippers through cold calling, mailing, and networking.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, offering tailored freight solutions.
• Negotiate rates and secure competitive offers from carriers to move freight efficiently from point A to point B.
• Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, contracts, and freight movements.
• Stay up to date with market trends, carrier capacity, and pricing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven ability in cold calling, sales, or customer relationship management (preferably in logistics or transportation).
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in freight brokerage or logistics is an advantage (but not mandatory).
