Freight Broker/Dispatcher

Hiring Schedule: Monday- Friday (5AM-1:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

Load Sourcing & Negotiation

Source freight from brokers/load boards, negotiate rates, and secure profitable loads aligned with available equipment.

Communication & Coordination

Serve as the main contact between brokers, dispatch, and drivers; confirm load details and provide timely updates.

Load Planning & Execution

Schedule pickups/deliveries, optimize routes, and reduce empty miles while ensuring HOS compliance.

Tracking & Issue Resolution

Monitor loads in transit, manage delays or issues, and communicate exceptions to all parties.

Documentation & Financial Accuracy

Ensure rate cons, BOLs, and load data are accurate; track accessorial and support billing and KPI performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of trucking operations and logistics flow

Familiarity with load boards and TMS systems

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
