· Experience:

· Operations: 1 year (PREFERRED)

· Logistics: 1 year (PREFERRED)

· Language: Chinese (MANDARIN PREFERRED)

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assist with Operations and Logistical department

-Handle shipment scheduling, planning, updating and shipment tracking

-Organizing and overseeing international freight shipments from start to finish

-Coordinating transportation delivery logistics with overseas suppliers, domestic trucking companies and warehouses, and international shipping carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery to clients

-Update clients on shipment schedule/status as needed

-Filing and data entry along with other paperwork duties

-Collaborate with other company departments to ensure timely shipping

-Handle customer service issues as needed, such as researching and resolving shipment discrepancies, damages or product quality issues

-Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with Customs/import/export regulations

-Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Bilingual is highly preferred (Mandarin/Chinese; spoken, reading and writing highly preferred)

· Must be Computer literate (Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word and Excel)

· Detailed oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy and precision with electronic and paper records

  • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
  • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
  • High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment

· Professional people and communication skills, particularly with telephone and email

· Able to follow standard operating procedures and follow up without having to be reminded

· Job Type: Full-time

· Pay: $36,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

· Pay Frequency:

· Bi-Weekly or Semi-Monthly
