Freight Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee domestic and international freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
• Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and transport vendors to get the best deals without sacrificing service
• Manage shipping schedules, customs requirements, and compliance across borders
• Optimize freight routes and modes (road, rail, and sea)
• Monitor carrier performance and troubleshoot issues before they become problems
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and inventory teams to streamline logistics
• Analyze freight data and generate reports to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Keep on top of trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6+ years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain management
• Deep knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience with freight management systems and ERP platforms
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities (you make juggling look easy)
• Familiarity with customs, import/export laws, and trade compliance
• Cool head under pressure and sharp eye for detail
