The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Shipping Manager who thrives on complexity. You will be responsible for the end-to-end movement of high-value commodities and project cargo. This role requires a professional who understands the nuances of maritime law, STS (Ship-to-Ship) transfers, and the technicalities of specialized shipping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Freight Management: Oversee international imports/exports via sea, air, and land (FCL, LCL, LTL).
• Project Cargo & OOG: Direct the logistics for Out-of-Gauge and Dangerous Goods (DGR) shipments, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
• Oil & Gas Operations: Coordinate the supply chain for petroleum products, including offshore bunkering, STS transfers, and ISO tank movements.
• Vessel Operations: Manage bulk vessel chartering and port liaison, including Ship Purchase & Sale (SPS) support.
• Customs & Compliance: Navigate UAE and GCC customs regulations, ensuring seamless clearance for diverse cargo types.
• Specialized Equipment: Manage the deployment of Open Tops, Flat Racks, and 45ft containers.

What We’re Looking For

• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in Oil & Gas logistics and international freight forwarding.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of vessel chartering, bunkering operations, and port protocols in the UAE/GCC.
• Regulatory Fluency: Expert knowledge of IMDG codes (for DGR) and Incoterms 2020.
• Leadership: Ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholders, from port authorities to refinery suppliers.
