Freight Operations Supervisor

• Supervise and coordinate inbound and outbound freight operations.
• Schedule and assign workloads for freight handlers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve transportation or routing issues.
• Ensure all freight documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, etc.) is accurate and compliant with regulations.
• Optimize routing and carrier utilization to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Lead and motivate a team of freight coordinators, dispatchers, and handlers.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach employees on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Serve as a point of contact between customers, carriers, and internal departments (sales, customer service, warehousing).
• Communicate shipping schedules, delivery updates, and issue resolutions to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of freight movements and audits.
• Promote and monitor adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Analyze freight costs, performance reports, and KPIs to improve service and reduce expenses.
• Support implementation of logistics management systems or software upgrades.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼9,000.00 per month
