Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new customers for import & export freight services
- Generate leads through calls, emails, meetings, references, and networking
- Convert enquiries into confirmed business
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
2. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Understand client logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions
- Act as the main point of contact for commercial discussions
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
3. Pricing & Quotations
- Prepare and share freight quotations for Air / Sea / Customs / Transportation
- Coordinate with operations, pricing, and vendors for competitive rates
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms
4. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments to operations
- Support resolution of billing or service-related issues
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Track market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities
- Provide feedback to management on pricing and service improvements
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain sales MIS, pipeline reports, and customer data
- Update CRM / Keka / internal systems regularly
- Share weekly and monthly sales performance reports
