Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new customers for import & export freight services
  • Generate leads through calls, emails, meetings, references, and networking
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed business
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Understand client logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for commercial discussions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

3. Pricing & Quotations

  • Prepare and share freight quotations for Air / Sea / Customs / Transportation
  • Coordinate with operations, pricing, and vendors for competitive rates
  • Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms

4. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams
  • Ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments to operations
  • Support resolution of billing or service-related issues

5. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities
  • Provide feedback to management on pricing and service improvements

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain sales MIS, pipeline reports, and customer data
  • Update CRM / Keka / internal systems regularly
  • Share weekly and monthly sales performance reports

Dealing with shipping lines | export and import customer service in freight department

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
