Job Description – French TeacherRole Purpose

To teach French as a Second/Third Language, enabling students to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive and engaging methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach French as per CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans focusing on communication and language usage.
• Conduct oral, written, and listening assessments.
• Encourage correct pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Maintain student records, assessments, and progress reports.
• Prepare students for examinations, activities, and language events.
• Use audio-visual and activity-based teaching techniques.
• Collaborate with academic teams and participate in school events.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in French / Foreign Languages.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Certification in French (DELF/DALF – added advantage).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over spoken and written French.
• Clear pronunciation and communication skills.
• Student-friendly, patient, and engaging teaching style.
• Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools.
