French Teacher for Our Family in College Grove, TN

Are you passionate about teaching French and inspiring a love of language in children? Our warm and welcoming family in College Grove, TN, is looking for a dedicated French Teacher to work with our three wonderful children—ages 3, 6, and 8.

Our children already have a foundation in French, and we’re seeking someone who can help them strengthen their skills, expand their vocabulary, and deepen their fluency through engaging, play-based, and immersive activities. We value creativity, structure, and active learning and are looking for someone who can bring these values to life in a screen-free, supportive environment. This role is flexible and can be full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s availability.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive French lessons that build on each child’s current level.
• Incorporate games, songs, storytelling, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging.
• Reinforce language skills through everyday routines, conversations, and play.
• Plan age-appropriate lessons and track progress for each child.
• Encourage outdoor play, cultural exploration, and real-life activities in French.
• Maintain a structured yet flexible learning schedule that adapts to each child’s needs.

Requirements

• Native French speaker (or near-native fluency).
• Experience teaching or tutoring young children in French.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children at different developmental stages.
