Job Title: Fresh Flower Procurement Specialist

Department: Office

General Function

This position utilizes good customer service, organizational, and time-management skills in creating buying opportunities for Hy-Vee floral department. Scheduling for this position is Monday through Friday, occasional weekends based on the fluctuation of business and holiday’s.

Reporting Relations

Accountable and Reports to: Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, Operations, and Assistant Vice President, Fresh Flower Procurement

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

High School or equivalent; at least six months of similar or related experience; knowledge of fresh flowers.

Working Conditions

The duties for this position are normally conducted in an office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.

Equipment Used To Perform Job

Computer with SBT/Accumatica/Savant software, Excel, Word, Outlook, fax, scanner, digital camera, scanner, and copier. Training on computer software will be provided.
