Develop familiar and understanding of systems, activities and procedures in the department and provide functional and operational support
RESPONSABILITIES: Understand functions and activities, in assigned areas, to determine the nature of the operations and to achieve established objectives including the efficiency
Undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and as agreed with line manager as part of the personal development planning process
Coordinate with various departments for smooth functioning of departmental activity
Achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales
Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams in assigned area of works
Work as a member of a team, learning to cover colleague's roles and responsibilities so that you can substitute for them in their absence
Flexible in the roles and responsibilities you undertake to ensure that the team that you work within and the department as a whole is successful in achieving its duties
Undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work and internal job rotation
Work and act according to the defined policies and procedures of company
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and related discipline of equivalent
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Effectively communicates thoughts, ideas information, and message in writing or verbally
Fair reporting and presentation skills
Show respect, flexibility and loyalty towards colleagues throughout the organization
Accept objective and constructive feedback in an appropriate way
