Walnut Capital is seeking an outgoing, organized, and dependable Front Desk Admin & Events Support team member to join our dynamic Bakery Square campus. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and is interested in gaining experience in property management with one of Walnut Capital’s fastest-growing real estate development teams.

Position Summary

This role serves as the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, delivering a high level of customer service while supporting daily front desk operations and campus-wide administrative needs. The position also provides support for tenant meetings and events, assisting with coordination, setup, and execution.

This is a Monday–Friday position, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Occasional flexibility is required to support events or operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Tenant Services

  • Greet tenants and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests; enter and manage work orders
  • Provide timely follow-up and ensure requests are resolved
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage access control requests, including badge creation and troubleshooting
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for tenant communications

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain and update front desk documentation and manuals
  • Monitor security cameras and ensure lobby systems are functioning properly
  • Provide administrative support to facilities, maintenance, security, and grounds teams
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with projects and day-to-day operations
  • Maintain organization and accountability of front desk equipment (radios, logs, etc.)

Events Support

  • Assist with tenant event and meeting setup and breakdown
  • Support event logistics, including room setup, basic A/V coordination, and vendor access
  • Help ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use
  • Provide on-site support during events as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience (customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
  • Familiarity with basic event and meeting space technology (A/V, TVs, conferencing tools, microphones) and ability to troubleshoot common issues as they arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
