Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and check in guests efficiently, providing a friendly and memorable arrival experience
* Manage guest bookings, room allocations, and billing transactions accurately using the Opera system
* Promote hotel services, upgrades, and loyalty programs such as IHG One Rewards
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction
* Maintain a strong understanding of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide accurate recommendations
* Process cash, credit, and billing transactions in compliance with hotel policies
* Communicate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and reservations teams for seamless operations
* Monitor guest feedback, act on preferences, and ensure guest expectations are exceeded
* Maintain personal grooming and appearance standards as a brand ambassador for InterContinental Hotels and Resorts
Ideal Profile
* Minimum of two years of experience in a front desk or guest service role within a 5-star hotel
* Proficient in Opera or similar property management systems
* Strong communication and customer service skills in English; additional languages such as Arabic, French, or Russian are an advantage
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive attitude
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality and teamwork
