Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
  • Check guests in and out accurately using hotel management software, ensuring all details are correct and complete
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management review
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to uphold a welcoming environment for all visitors

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to guest relations
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse guest populations effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is highly desirable
  • Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems required
  • Ability to handle night audit procedures confidently and accurately
  • Previous hotel experience focusing on guest services, hospitality management, or resort operations is a plus
