Front Desk Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team to work some audit shifts 11p-7a and some 3p-11p shifts. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage reservations and maintain accurate records using hotel management software.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
  • Operate phone systems to assist guests with calls and messages.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Strong skills in guest relations and guest services.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing front desk operations.
