Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Motel 6. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Process reservations and maintain accurate records of guest information.
• Assist with billing inquiries and ensure accurate charges are applied.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests promptly.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
• Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls professionally.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or complaints effectively.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Experience in front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems efficiently.
• Ability to perform night audits accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
