Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
  • Operate multi-line phone systems, responding to calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
  • Assist with guest relations, providing information about local attractions and services
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality management throughout the shift

Experience

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
  • Experience in hotel settings or similar hospitality environments is advantageous
