The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests, whether over the phone, during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout; while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations with attention to detail.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest relations.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls effectively, directing them to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a resort or hotel setting.
