Front Desk Agent

Position: Front Desk Agent Exempt Non-Exempt

Department: Front Office

Reports to: Front Office Manager

Purpose of the Position: TheFront Desk Agent, is responsible for ensuring guests at a property have a satisfying stay. Their duties include greeting and welcoming customers, checking guests in and out, and issuing room keys.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Greeting guests upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome.

  • Check billing instruction and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
  • Knowledgeable about PBX procedures and serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local fire, police, and emergency personnel.

· Organizing transportation services and making restaurant reservations for guests upon request.

· Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times.

  • Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Preferred, High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Prior industry experience preferred.

Physical Demands: Read & visually verify information in a variety of formats; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without help.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
