Job description

Job requirements:

  • Be Part of a great Front Desk Team who are fun and loving people
  • Responsible for providing quality guest services that include reservations and check-out, wakeup call service, supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Assists guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
  • Complete all items on the appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklist by the end of the shift.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and confidently.
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of a) all hotel features/services, hours of operation. b) all room rates, special packages and promotions. c) daily In-house count and expected arrivals/departures.
  • Field guest complaints while maintaining a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems & complaints. Take ownership of guests' challenges and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills required for example word and excel.
  • Training will be provided to get acclimated to the hotel reservation system and processes.
  • Good customer-service and communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Choice Advantage is a PLUS

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
