Job requirements:
- Be Part of a great Front Desk Team who are fun and loving people
- Responsible for providing quality guest services that include reservations and check-out, wakeup call service, supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Assists guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
- Complete all items on the appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklist by the end of the shift.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and confidently.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of a) all hotel features/services, hours of operation. b) all room rates, special packages and promotions. c) daily In-house count and expected arrivals/departures.
- Field guest complaints while maintaining a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems & complaints. Take ownership of guests' challenges and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills required for example word and excel.
- Training will be provided to get acclimated to the hotel reservation system and processes.
- Good customer-service and communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage is a PLUS
