Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and prompt resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information while adhering to hotel policies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared to meet guest expectations.
- Assist with night audit responsibilities, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with guests and team members across multiple channels.
- Support guest relations by providing local information, amenities details, and personalized service to enhance their stay.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous hotel or resort experience is advantageous; knowledge of guest services and hospitality standards is essential.
