Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Handle reservation bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately using hotel management software
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and offering local recommendations
  • Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, requests, and complaints to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests efficiently
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure all communication reflects the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere

Experience

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a significant advantage for serving diverse guests effectively
  • Familiarity with front desk procedures, including night audit processes and multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an energetic approach to guest interactions
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude
