We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts. Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional check-in experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
- Perform night audits, including reviewing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively.
- Provide concierge services by recommending local attractions, dining options, and activities.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service are essential for success in this role.
