MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE!
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual In Spanish Preferred. Must be able to work weekends!
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using computerized systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in office management practices, particularly within a dental office setting.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a clinic environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing patient records accurately.
- Ability to operate computerized systems, including Dentrix or similar software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy atmosphere.
