Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with guest inquiries, and contributing to an overall positive guest experience in our hotel or resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage reservations and ensure accurate billing information is maintained.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services and satisfaction.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and handling various communication channels effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
